Six in a Row

Talk about WOW!

It’s funny how things happen… right? Well right about the same time I launched my photography business, two friends from my University days got together to create Six in a Row. They have been so busy wow’ing the Sydney and Canberra Markets with their amazing jewellery that is has taken them until now to launch their web-site. But boy, it was worth the wait.

Check it out, oh, and yep, they’re a commercial client of mine, and I had the opportunity to capture their beautiful workspace along with their pieces a little while back. Go see for yourself and next time they’re at a market near you, get along. Not only do they have amazingly original pieces for women, but their kids line is to die for… it’s worth stocking up the present drawer with these beauties.

Enjoy!

Lucky Mum

In Sydney over the weekend one super lucky Mum received a selection of images, including these ones, of her gorgeous adult children framed for her birthday.

She’s lucky because her daughter had been planning this secret photo session with her three brothers since February (yup.. that’s how long I’ve been in on the plan). One even had to fly back early from a rugby match in Queensland on the day of the session.

She’s lucky because she had her party on Saturday night and this was a complete surprise…

She’s lucky because she has 4 times the love a child has for their Mum. Happy Birthday!

Enjoy!

Green T

These kiddos had me on my toes at this session… those who could run were running, and those that were interested in the dirt were well… pretty dirty :)

But it was worth it!

Enjoy!

May 31, 2010 - 12:53 pm Hayley - Yes...but you got 'the' shot! Three children of those ages...all looking at the camera...all eyes open! That's a great shot Mel! I think child photography is THE hardest of all areas...you really have to work for every shot don't you. Love the green tops!

When we were discussing the detail of the photography session, this Mum mentioned she had some vintage toy cars that she was thinking of bringing along. I loved them… and so did her little boy!

Karen + Craig | Married!

You might remember this beautiful couple from this engagement session…

Recently I had the honour of photographing their wedding on a stunning, warm Autumn day.  My friend and fellow photographer Tanya Tindale helped out as well and not only did we have a blast, but were made to feel like guests and we felt truly privileged to capture the day.

Karen chose to get ready at her parents house in Kirrawee while Craig’s best man Garry hosted the boys at his home in Loftus before the ceremony at Cronulla.

One of Tanya’s…

Stunning Dress…

The flowers were just so vivid, and beautifully put together. Karen was super excited about them, and the ‘something borrowed’ was the handkerchief that was given to Karen for the day by Craig’s Grandmother.

Gorgeous girls…

Super proud Dad sneaking a peek…
